Franciacorta Brut
Franciacorta Brut
Franciacorta is a prestigious sparkling wine from beautiful rolling landscape of Lombardy, Italy. It's sometimes made exclusively from Chardonnay, but usually from Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc too. Produced since 1961 Franciacorta is vinified according to strict regulations.
Known for its fine bubbles and complex flavors, Franciacorta undergoes the traditional method of bottle fermentation, similar to Champagne, which creates the bubbles. The style emphasizes fresh acidity, pleasant fruitiness and multiple flavors provided by bottle aging.
Franciacorta offers a range of styles, including Brut, Extra Brut, and Rosé. While not as globally recognized as Champagne, Franciacorta is highly regarded in Italy and among wine enthusiasts for its elegance and quality.
